The location of this mint is not known, but the use of the Satavahana six-arched hill might suggest that these coins were minted in a mint taken from the Satavahanas, probably located in Malwa. This Trilingua Transitional variety carries very interesting and previously unknown type. It combines the earliest type of Chastana (Type #1) which shows only the crescent and the sun with a 6-arched hill. It can be regarded as a trial issue or a transition issue from the "sun and crescent" type to the normal "hill, star and crescents" type. Fishman type 4.14R, pg. 49, Very Rare.

https://numiauctions.com/products/western-kshatrapas-karddamaka-dynasty-chastana-ca-78-130-ad-ar-drachm-1
