Obv: سنہ جلوس میمنت مانوس ضرب دار الظفر بیجاپور “Sanah julus maimanat manus”, with the regnal year, and the mint name “Bijapur” accompanied by the epithet “Dar-uz-Zafar” (“Abode of Victory”), divided into stylistically arranged sections, floral rosettes in the fields.
Rev: سکہ زد در جہاں چو مہر منیر Persian legend bearing the “Sikka zad dar jahan chu mihr-i-munir, Shah Aurangzeb Alamgir” “Shah Aurangzeb Alamgir struck coin in the world like the radiant sun.”
The mint name “Bijapur” and its epithet “Dar-ul-Zafar” (Abode of Victory) are divided into stylistically arranged sections, their flowing calligraphy lending the reverse a distinctive ornamental character.
