Description
Obverse :
The central punch depicts Goddess Lakshmi seated in Padmasana, with her saree spreading below her like lotus petals. She sits within an arched shrine, topped by a Kirtimukha and supported by pillars with seated Hamsas above them. Lakshmi holds lotus flowers in her upper hands, symbolising beauty, prosperity and fertility. Her lower hands offer protection (abhaya mudra) and grant blessings (varada mudra). Around the central image are 16 punches: two reading “Sri-Sri,” one “Mandalika,” and one “Kesari,” all in Kannada, alternating with four groups of Lotus–Boar–Lotus symbols. Each boar faces right, with the sun and moon above.
