Comment : The Kakatiya dynasty succeeded the Nolamba dynasty and ruled for a brief period and their coins are extremely rare. Daaya-gaja Kesari is one of the common titles of the Kakatiyas, adorned by many of the rulers of the dynasty, starting from Prola-I. The coin fabric suggests that the coin is of period of transition between the Nolambas and the Kakatiyas. A superbly preserved specimen with gleaming surfaces, struck in high relief with brilliant details, offering outstanding eye appeal. Uncirculated, Extremely rare.
