Comment :
Traditionally attributed to the Kuntala Janapada, these early silver punch-marked coins are associated with the Wai region of western Maharashtra, in the upper Krishna valley. Finds from the Wai–Sultanpur area have helped identify this distinctive regional series, recognised by its characteristic “pulley-like” symbol. Issued in several weight denominations, these coins offer an important glimpse into the early monetary traditions of the Deccan. Complete Set of 4 different denominations. Extremely Fine, Extremely Rare.
